Presence. Captured.

I’m Derrick, the photographer behind DEM Photography in Raleigh, North Carolina. I started DEM to help people hold onto the moments they want to relive and show who they truly are. A shoot with me is relaxed. I’m looking for an interesting angle, cracking a joke, or telling you to act like I’m not even there. Whether it’s a portrait, a night out, or a special event, I want your photos to make you feel empowered to be yourself—and bring you right back to that moment.
